This role will serve as a key part of the Investment Strategy office at Partners Group, reporting into the Managing Director, Chief Investment Strategist. This role will support in delivering industry-leading insights and thought leadership on private markets to clients, and internal and external stakeholders. The candidate is expected to help originate and deliver differentiated insights across a range of topics including the latest developments in private markets, thematic opportunities, and the impact of macroeconomic forces on our investments. In addition, the role will have frequent and consistent contact with stakeholders across the firm and is intended to support our client solutions teams in delivering timely perspectives, insights and data.
The role is based in New York.
The ideal candidate will bring approximately 5-10 years of experience in financial services, with a significant focus on private markets. He/she should possess exceptional data analysis skills, strong writing ability, capacity to develop strong public speaking capabilities, commitment to working alongside colleagues to support their needs, and an outstanding work ethic.
- 5-10 years of experience in financial services, preferably in private markets
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong data analytics skills, preferably including coding experience
- Expert-level familiarity with key private market data sources like Pitchbook, Preqin in addition to experience with Bloomberg and other related databases
- Strong desire to learn and use other proprietary data and tools
- Developing public speaking abilities
- Keen interest in investment strategy focused on private markets
- Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines, client needs and time-sensitive market developments
- Demonstrated track record of working across the organization to build and scale new initiatives

- Compensation will be a base annual salary with an annual performance-based bonus and equity package. The compensation range for this role is $160,000 - $240,000.
