Partners Group is hiring a corporate paralegal to expand our Transaction Services team in Singapore.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working side by side with transactional attorneys to close large and complex private markets transactions
  • Managing the execution, organization and filing of a wide variety of transactional legal documents
  • Helping to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions
  • Assisting with the formation and tracking of legal entities used for investment structures
  • Managing "know your customer" and anti-money laundering processes with respect to Partners Group and transaction counterparties
  • Processing amendments to transaction documents and other post-closing legal tasks 
  • Ensuring that legal obligations under transaction documents are properly tracked within Partners Group systems
  • Assisting attorneys in the review of marketing materials to ensure compliance with relevant legal obligations
  • Documenting investment structures and other deal characteristics in the relevant Partners Group databases
  • Ad-hoc project work, internal system enhancements or other tasks as assigned from time to time
What we expect
  • Minimum of 3 years previous paralegal experience, preferably within a law firm, asset manager or financial services company
  • General knowledge of corporate law in Singapore or other Commonwealth jurisdictions, and understanding of transactional documents and corporate governance documents
  • Experience with real estate, private debt, mergers & acquisitions and/or private equity funds is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Client and service oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible to a dynamic task portfolio
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team-oriented, communicative person with a good sense of responsibility
  • Ability to integrate in a dynamic and multi-cultural growing global team
  • Reliable, well organized with an eye for detail, self-driven and able to prioritize
  • Committed to meet tight deadlines with high standards of quality
  • Interest in learning about private markets transactions and the operations of a global private equity firm
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Excellent English skills and being proficient in a second language, in particular Mandarin, will be a plus
