Project Finance Manager

What it's about

The Project Finance manager focuses on capturing and monitoring the benefits realisation of the different change initiatives within, but not limited to, the Services, Technology and Finance organisation. She/He is responsible of building the financial plans delivering the financial objectives of the 2025 operating model project. The Project Finance manager works closely with the Project/Program manager(s) providing the underlying data required to steer projects and business cases.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create the framework to monitor and manage the value realisation of the project portfolio, value that may come from process improvements (Lean), IT gains or outsource contracts, etc.
  • Define and monitor KPIs for the different project business cases
  • Own the dashboarding process to ensure that information is accurate and timely for executive decisioning
  • Contribute to develop projects rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility of projects
  • Report on project portfolio performance and productivity gains
  • Work closely with project managers responsible for delivery of the constituent workstreams within the programme
  • Liaison with other project members regarding cost analysis and chargeback

What we expect

  • 5 yrs experience in a project financial role, project operating officer or similar
  • Financial management, accounting and/ or treasury experience
  • Pro-active, forward looking mindset and exceptional delivery focus
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast pace environment and under time pressure as required by the program schedule
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal skills and ability to influence at a senior management level
  • Certification in Project Management (PMI or similar) is an advantage
  • Experience working in the Financial sector is an advantage
