What it's about

 

Join our Financial and Regulatory Reporting cell, where you will become a key member of Partners Group's Regulatory Reporting team. You will be responsible for client-driven regulatory reporting for our products and investment structures, focusing on topics such as expense transparency and sustainability disclosures. In this role, you will translate regulatory and client requirements into practical outputs and drive their end-to-end operationalization. You will monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices for cost transparency and sustainability disclosure reporting, ensuring client-facing teams have access to the required data in a consistent and reliable manner. Your contribution will be essential to the overall success and development of Partners Group's expense transparency and sustainability disclosure reporting capabilities.

We are looking to add a Senior Reporting Specialist to join our Regulatory Reporting team in our Zug office. In this role, you will support the team with gathering and interpreting data from various sources, transforming it into information that is meaningful for Partners Group's clients, and contributing to business development and decision-making. You will also perform extensive research and analysis on regulatory reporting requirements that are relevant to Partners Group and its clients.

 

Key areas of the role include:

  • Interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements, updates and guidelines such as Packaged retail and insurance-based investment products (PRIIPs), Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) and Swiss Financial Services Act (FIDLEG), Swiss Private Equity & Corporate Finance Association (SECA), Cost Transparency Initiative (CTI), Total Cost of Acquisition (TCA), Defined Contribution (DC) Workplace Pension Template (DCPT), Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), EU Taxonomy
  • Designing and implementing processes, tools and solutions to better manage the workflow of Total Expense Ratio (TER), PRIIPs, MiFID annual reviews, production of European MiFID Template (EMT), European PRIIPs Template (EPT) and European ESG Template (EET), including related expense transparency and sustainability disclosure topics
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on a portfolio of regulatory topics

 

What we expect

 

  • The typical candidate should have a bachelor's degree (preferably master's) in a related field of study
  • Applicants should have >8 years of experience from the financial services industry, preferably within alternative investments financial reporting
  • The ideal candidate should possess a general understanding of accounting concepts; candidates with experience or ability to demonstrate an understanding of regulatory requirements and practical application of PRIIPs, MiFID, FIDLEG, SECA, CTI, TCA, DCPT, SFDR, EU Taxonomy and/or related regulatory frameworks will be preferred
  • Flair for systems and data management; candidates should demonstrate an ability to analyze large datasets, understand systems and implement solutions to new regulatory requirements with our Business Applications team
  • The ideal candidate should be proficiency in SQL; candidates with an ability to write complex scripts will be preferred
  • Effective communication and presentation skills while collaborating, communicating and presenting to stakeholders across different functions and all levels of seniority in an international setting
  • Proficiency in English required, proficiency in German preferred
  • Legal authorization to work in Switzerland
