In this full time position you will be responsible for supporting Partners Group’s sustainability strategy in integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors across our investments and investment platform. For this challenging position we are seeking a candidate with a passion for responsible business and investment. They should have a proven track-record of implementing business improvement projects and possess strong influencing and analytical skills.
Responsibilities will include:

Serve as an expert resource on sustainability related initiatives and regulations, including but not limited to environment factors (carbon reduction, climate analysis, energy management), health & safety, ethical supply chains, diversity and inclusion, cyber/IT security, and ESG data

Collaborate with investment teams and assets to educate, monitor, and support progress against asset and portfolio sustainability metrics and strategic initiatives

Support investment teams in identifying and assessing material ESG factors during due diligence on potential investments

Perform quantitative data analytics on sustainability related data at the asset, portfolio, and global platform level

Own strategic projects beyond direct asset work that support our broader sustainability strategy

Deliver impact investing engagements to assets through our "impact-at-scale" portfolio, PG LIFE

Support the client solutions (CSOL) team to serve current and prospective clients’ sustainability related requests and reporting

Contribute to the development of Partners Group’s responsible investing strategic development and presentations

Identify and execute improvements in how Partners Group integrates ESG factors in each of its asset classes and investment types
- Top academic credentials (Master/MBA preferred)
- At least 3-5 years of experience in driving transformation in mid-sized businesses from an investment, corporate or consulting role ideally within the area of responsible business or sustainability
- Excellent analytical skills e.g. drawing insights and recommendations from data, integrating ESG factors into investment and business analysis and decisions
- Familiarity with investment management and a genuine interest in private markets investments
- An entrepreneurial and self-directed person, able to manage effectively and complete tasks in demanding timelines and with competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability and experience interacting with global senior level executives
- Strong oral and written communications skills in English. Proficiency/fluency
- Flexibility to travel for work with global colleagues, portfolio companies & assets
- International background, e.g. experience working in international and professional environment
